Question:

I just purchased a 2014 Chev Silverado LTZ with the Z71 pkg ... they have a new axle under this trk ... the one I have is the 9.5inch axle ... when I ordered this truck it wasnt even on the market yet ... so I have one of the first ones ... they said I couldnt get the max trailering pkg because I had the Z71 pkg ... it was one of those you cant get the 6.2 engines without getting the LTZ model .. anyways ... it was a crazy experience ... I am just making sure that if I purchase a set of Air Bags they will definitely fit this truck... please let me know

The axle your version of the 2014 Chevy Silverado would be the Z71 rear axle and that should also be a 4 wheel drive model. The proper kit for a 1500 would be # F2430 that you have referenced. But if it happens to be a 2500 or 3500 then you would need to use # F2709.

Also, if you do not want to manually fill the air bags every time you can install a Level Command II kit, # F2219, which will allow you to fill/remove air from the bags from the cab of the truck. I have also linked some FAQ articles for you.
