You can use the Curt Fusion Ball Mount # C45152 to tow your lawn care trailer with your 2000 Lexus RX 300. The only reason you wouldn't be able to use it is if you don't have a 2" trailer hitch receiver like the # e64KR on your vehicle. This ball mount uses a 1-7/8" ball. If you need a 2" ball instead then you would need the # C45155
