Question:

I have a 2016 Dynamax REV 24TB and I need to replace the black waste valve and cable. I dont know what brand was originally installed or the cable length. Would you know this information?

Waste valves and cables are universal fits so while I don't know what came on your motorhome, I can still help you out!

The standard waste valve size for the black tank is 3" and you'll be looking at either hub or spigot connections. A hub connection is the outer piece while the spigot is the inner piece. So all you need to do to replace your current black tank waste valve is determine what connections you need (hubs and spigots) and then get a cable length that will reach from the waste valve to the place where the handle is located.

For example, the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve # 34466N4AB72GMA has a spigot end and a hub end and then a 72" cable. If this matches what you have then you'll simply remove the current waste valve and install this in it's place being sure to first empty and clean out your tank and using ABS Solvent Cement # 3447530889 to secure the connections together.
