Question:

Im in the process of planning the replacement of the axel and leaf springs on my Haulin Trailer Model 4700. Im looking at replacing my Dexter P-21 SLR axel with your #204401 EZ60 axel kit, but Im concerned about the leaf springs. My existing frame has welded spring brackets with spring center to spring center measurement of 49inch and spring eye to spring eye measurement of 20. Your #204401 EZ60 has welded spring mounts @48inch and Im not finding a leaf sprint that will fit my frame brackets. What would you recommend?

What you would need to do is have your current hangers removed and new ones welded on in order to use the Dexter Trailer Idler Axle w/ Idler Hubs - EZ-Lube - 4 on 4 Bolt Pattern - 60" Long - 2,000 lbs # 20440I-EZ-60.

The # 20440I-EZ-60 wouldn't work with the spring eye measurements you currently have so this would really be the only option. I have added a link below to our entire selection of single-axle hanger kits for you to check out, each with different heights.
