Question:
Recommendation for a new boat trailer winch. 1991 chaparral 1900 bowrider (3,250 pounds?). Ez loader trailer.

From what I found your 1991 Chaparral 1900 Bowrider weighs 2,200 lbs so it is likely the 3,250 lbs is the GVWR of the trailer. The best option for a winch that will have plenty of capacity is the following:
- 2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch # 315-W2500D
The # 315-W2500D has a 2,500 lb capacity, and even comes with a 20 foot strap so you don't have to get one separately.
