The Ventline Pinnacle Ducted RV Range Hood with Light # VE78SR runs off of 12v DC power so it's actually going to be powered by the trailer battery. You can wire this to the battery or more preferably to the power center in your camper. Typically a camper will have a converter to charge the battery while hooked up to shore power/generator power to keep the battery charged. Most power centers typically have the converter installed inside of it.
