Looking for Bolt-On Handle for Moving Yard Vacuum
Updated 11/19/2013 | Published 11/17/2013 >
Question:
Can you tell me the weight limit of one of these handles? Im looking for a handle like this to help me move a heavy yard vac out of a shed to where I can hitch it to a riding mower. The vac tongue is very heavy, but a jack really would not work on it. A coupler handle is not deep enough, something like this would be better, wouldnt have to bend down, but I only need one, is there anything similar to this that you sell just one of?

We actually carry handles that would work very well for that purpose. Take a look at part # C31005. I believe this handle would work much better thank the # FCH0201 coupler mounted handle you mentioned.
My Curt representative tells me that the winch mount handles do not carry a weight rating. They are meant to be bolted to a winch mounting plate to make transporting the winch easier. As the heaviest winches we carry weigh up to 200 lbs, I would say they should handle at least that amount of weight. Unfortunately, these particular handles are not available individually, you'd need to buy the set of two.
