Yes, the Thule CB12 Snow Tire Chains, # TH01221090, will fit on your 2012 Mazda 3. These chains are Class S compatible meaning they were designed for vehicles with limited clearance in the wheel wells. Since the Mazda 3 is a 2 wheel drive vehicle, I recommend putting the chains on the drive wheels for best control.
I have attached an installation video for you to check out. You will notice that the vehicle in the video is different from your Mazda 3, but the installation process will be the same.
As a side note, Mazda does mention that the use of tire chains can prevent the tire pressure monitoring system from functioning correctly. If a warning light comes on in the dash when you are driving with the tire chains on, the tire chains are likely the cause.
