Question:

Will the Alphabond White tape adhere to a fiberglass roof. We have a small lift near our slide out. I was going to apply the tape from the gutter up onto the roof over the curve. Also, which adhesive would you recommend to apply to the fiberglass where it is lifting to adhere to the underneath surface. Additionally, we have some delamination at the back corner. I was going to take the trim off and put the Alphabond tape on the edges. Do you have an adhesive you would recommend to reattach the side wall. Small area 2 ft x 11ft. I suspect that we got a small leak at the roof edge or the side edge. Thank you for your assistance and recommendations.

Yes, the Alpha Systems Alphabond Repair Tape for RV Roofs # AL32KV will adhere to a fiberglass roof. You will want to make sure the area you are adhering too is thoroughly cleaned. We do not have a recommended adhesive, you will just want to be sure you use an adhesive that is intended to be used with fiberglass.

You will then want to use a non-sag sealant like the LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Non-Sag Sealant for RVs # 344270341437-1 to make sure you seal everything completely. This all would only be a short term solution, you would eventually want/need to get the roof properly fixed.
