Question:

My bike rack has a 1.25inch shank, that Id like to use on my 2022 VW ID.4. If I add a 2-to-1.25inch converter to this DT84GR hitch, Im concerned the bike rack may stick out too far from the back. Any advice on how far a rack might stick out if a converter is used? Any 1.25inch hitches on the horizon for a 2022 VW ID.4? As noted in another question here, the Curt hitch part # C47JR does not extend out nearly as much as the Draw Tite part # DT84GRinch - but the Curt isnt yet confirmed to fit the 2022 model. Thanks

Our 2 inch to 1-1/4 inch hitch adapter part # HT02 would add right at 3 inches to the hitch it was installed in like the Draw Tite # DT84GR 2022 Volkswagen ID 4. There aren't any 1-1/4 inch hitches available for your vehicle at this time and we are not aware of any that may be coming either.
