If you want to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # DT84GR on your 2021 VW ID 4 that is perfectly fine and will not void your warranty.
There is a Warranty Act that allows after market parts to be installed on vehicles without voiding warranties. It can be voided only if the item itself or the act of installing the item causes the issue/problem.
So if you install the hitch receiver and a month later your transmission drops out, you will still have a warranty.
