Dimensions and Weight of Dometic Portable Camping Toilet # DOM34FR

Question:
recently just inherited a pretty rundown RV from the nephew-in-law, and Im starting to go through and make some lists about what needs to be rejuvenated in the RV. One of the things that needs the most attention is the lavatory. The whole setup he had in there was pretty funky, but to each their own, it was his throne room, but now its all mine. One of the things he had in there was a pretty questionable toilet situation. The plumbing was really weird. It didnt go down under the RV, but instead just shot everything out the side wall onto the highway or Walmart parking lot or wherever he decided to sling things. Im not okay with that, as I never go to Walmart, not after last time. With this portable toilet, am I going to have to rip everything out, or can I just plop this down on top of the old throne? Ill probably just do that, thanks. Additionally, is this thing well equipped for, and please excuse my French, but, big stinkers?inch Also, just how portable is this toilet? If Im going hiking or adventuring somewhere, can I strap this to my backpack, or would that be too heavy to reliably carry for extended periods of time? Ive always had stage fright when it comes to things like this, so being able to take a battle buddy on my journeys would be sublime.

The Dometic Portable Camping Toilet # DOM34FR can basically be put anywhere there's a solid surface so yeah you could put in in the current bathroom you have now without any changes needed to be made. As for your question about the "big stinkers" it may not be perfect for that, but everyone's definition of big might be different so your mileage may vary.
The weight of this is 10.6 lbs and the dimensions are 12-1/2" tall x 15-1/2" long x 13-1/4" wide. It was designed for backpacking but there's no reason you couldn't take it with you.
