My only question is how to take my old lock out and install on the new part.

To remove your old lock from your old Spar Tube to be able to install your new:
-Replacement Spar Tube Assembly for Thule T2 Pro XT # 7524703001,
You will just need the Universal Change Key for Thule One Key Locks # TH42BJ. With your lock core unlocked, you will just insert the change key and remove the old core, then insert the new core.
