Kayak Trailer Recommendation for Transporting Squamish and Perception Kayaks
Updated 07/18/2022 | Published 07/16/2022 >
Question:
I have a 15.8’ Squamish and a 13.8’ Perception Carolina in need of a 12” tire road-worthy trailer. The Squamish is only 23” wide and the Carolina is 25” wide so I’m looking for a narrow but long trailer. Current gate width is 66” Can you recommend a trailer? Thanks!

The Malone Microsport Trailer part # MPG461GU would be a great option for carrying your two kayaks as it can carry boats up to 20 feet in length, has an 800 lb weight capacity, and has saddles that easily slide in and out to accommodate the narrower width of your Squamish and Perception Carolina. The wheel size is also 12 inch like you wanted and the speed rating of the tire is higher at 70 mph. The bars are 78 inches long which is the shortest option we have.
