Hi can this locking hitch pin be used with standard hitch for towing situations?

You will want to use the Master Lock Hitch Receiver and Coupler Latch Lock Set # 1481DAT when towing with a 2" receiver. This pin is 5/8" diameter to match the receiver and ball mount. The Hitch Lock for Kuat Bike Racks # HL2 is only 1/2" in diameter and was specifically designed to be used with a Kuat bike rack only for securing the rack to a 2" receiver.
