Do Ark Drop Down Stabilizer Jacks Have Torque Rating & Weight Rating
Updated 07/08/2022 | Published 07/07/2022 >
Question:
Knowing this is not a jack but a stabilizer, how much torque can you use when stabilizing in order not to damage the jack? Also it has to have some weight bearing properties in order to stabilize, how much weight will it bear?

Expert Reply:
Since they are a weld-on only installation, there is not a torque rating for the Ark Drop Down Corner RV Stabilizer Jacks - 30" Long Corner Steadies # AR94FR.
And in regard to a specific weight rating, we have asked the manufacturer, Ark, this very question and they say they do not have any specific weight rating because they are not meant for lifting (like a jack), they just help stabilize.
