Question:
I was give a used Thule Chariot CX1. It lacks a hitch arm to attach to a bike. I ride an electric bike that I want to use it with. You have 2 products listed: 40191109 and 2010056. I like the idea of leaving the attachment at the rear wheel permanent, but I am not sure of the Chariot mfg date so don’t know if this will work for me. I can send you a pic of the front of the Chariot if that will help.

When it comes to replacing the hitch arm assembly on your Thule Chariot CX1 The Replacement Hitch Arm Assembly for Bike Trailer Conversion Kit for Thule Child Carriers # 40191109 is the correct replacement.
The replacement arm is made out of a lightweight aluminum that snaps quickly into place. This includes one replacement arm.
