Question:
what is the efficiency rating? what is the amperage draw when on and no load standby? how do you ship - UPS, USPS, or?

I spoke with my rep at Progressive Dynamics about the Pure Sine Wave Inverter w/ Transfer Switch item # PD44FR you were looking at. He told me there isn't an efficiency rating like you would find on a refrigerator but it does conform to the UL standards for efficiency. It runs at a 1,000 watt continuous and 2,000 watt peak. He also told me the maximum amperage draw on standby is 1 amp and will not be enough to drain your battery if left on for a month.
We ship through UPS.
