Fan Oil Cooler Recommendation for 2012 Ford F-150 EcoBoost

Question:

I recently purchased and installed your Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D1350 in series with the existing transmission cooler and it does seem to keep the trans temps down. However last weekend I was pulling up a long grade towing my trailer roughly 6000# and my engine got hot it was a hot day and the pull was about 4 miles. I have done a lot of research on this issue and found that for the 2012 model and others, this is a known issue and not many recommendations on how to solve this. What I did find is a recommendation to install an engine oil cooler with fan. Apparently the engine oil, turbos, transmission, and radiator are all intermixed, so when the turbos are working hard they create a lot of heat. I hope that makes sense. So do you have a recommendation of a engine oil cooler with fan for a 2012 F150 Ecoboost?

According to the Ford towing guide the 3.5L EcoBoost engine in your 2012 Ford F-150 means it has more than enough power to pull your 6,000 lb trailer, although pulling up long grades with a heavy trailer on a hot day will put more stress on your vehicle so upgrading the oil cooler is a great idea.

For your application I recommend checking out the Class V Derale Atomic-Cool Remote Engine Oil Cooler Kit w/ Fan # D15450 for a few reasons; you can't overcool your engine on a hot day, and this comes with a thermostatic bypass feature so on cold days the cooler doesn't work against you by making it take longer for your engine to heat up.
