Question:
I am looking for a load assist for my Prius v, which has Yakima round bars at present. I have the Yakima Boat loader for my little kayak, but I wanted to go bigger. I hoped to use a Yakima showboat, but it does not fit my Prius V. Would a Rhino side load assist fit my round Yakima racks? I am thinking no. Got any other ideas, hopefully that would eventually work on my new RAV4 prime when the time comes? Thanks

For your application I recommend checking out either the Malone Channel Loader # MAL48FR or the Inno Kayak Lifter Load Assist # INA453. The Channel Loader can easily be moved from one vehicle to another with minimal effort and the Kayak Lifter uses universal-type clamps that are compatible with all of the standard crossbar style on the market.
