Question:

2022 Ford Escape SEL plug in hybrid with Moon roof The dealer says that no roof cargo can be attached to this vehicle. The moon roof gets in the way and the teeny tiny rails that are on the car aren’t designed for anything to be attached. Is this true? Any work around?

While vehicle and roof rack manufacturers usually state to avoid opening a sun or moon roof with a roof rack installed, we have found that the vast majority will fit just fine with enough clearance - you just need to be mindful of how much clearance you'll have after the roof rack is installed on your 2022 Ford Escape and probably avoid opening the roof when you have accessories installed.
