Question:

Does the Hopkins HM56115 work with a 2022 Chevy Tahoe Premium and if so why dont you recommend it? I used a Hopkins wiring kit on my F150 and it worked great. Thanks

There is a flat tow wiring kit for your 2022 Chevy Tahoe Premier (which is what I think you meant as there isn't a Premium), but the Hopkins # HM56115 does not fit the Premier models. Your '22 Tahoe has variable voltage taillights, which means multiple electrical signals are on a single wire, so it needs a specific wiring kit:

- Roadmaster Universal Wiring Kit with Smart Diodes for Variable Voltage Incandescent Tail Lights # RO94FR

The # RO94FR moderates the voltage correctly so that the taillights work properly; the only other thing you would need with this is a plug, the Roadmaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit # RM-146-7 or 7-Wire to 4-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit # RM-164-7.
