Does the fantastic fan require a fantastic fan vent cover or is it compatible with maxxair and other vent covers? Id prefer to not drill more holes in the roof that necessary.

Other branded covers will require you to drill into the side of your Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat # FV803350 to install the mounting hardware.
The Fan-Tastic Vent Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover # DMC38FR won't require you to drill any new holes to install. You'll just need to pull out two screws on the sides on the vent and then shoot them back in with the mounting brackets on them. After that you'll just want to cover the screws and mounting brackets with some self-leveling sealant # AL98KV to avoid any water leakage.
