Question:
Hi We are re-doing the lights on a boat trailer. Its for a 20 ft boat over 80 wide. The biggest issue in the past has been really thin wire that breaks internally inside the sheath after a couple of seasons. We are looking for a kit or list of part numbers that features: Standard 4 pin flat plug Quality wires LED Submersible Thanks!

Expert Reply:
For a high-quality wiring and lighting setup on your boat trailer I recommend going with the LED Trailer Light Kit # TL16RK but then swapping out the wiring for the Easy-Pull Harness # HM38136 so it's easier to disconnect your wiring and also swapping out the Quick Splices for Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05744-10 so the connections are more secure and won't be damaged by water.
