Replacement RV Waste Valve Handles

Question:

I have a 2016 travel trailer which has a missing valve handle. The problem I have is I have tried several different type handles and nothing seems to work. The shaft has a female thread on the shaft but I cant find a screw to fit in the shaft. I also tried a extension rod with a rod coupler, but the coupler wont slide over the shaft. I have run out of ideas short of replacing the entire valve assembly. Do you have any ideas on what I can do short of replacing the valve assembly?

We have a number of RV waste valve handles available in a range of styles such as the Replacement Handle for LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valves # 34490CMA1G which has a screw or the Replacement Handle for Bladex and Valterra Waste Valves # T1003-6VP as well as a number of other options.

Without having more information regarding your waste valve set-up, I do not have any other great suggestions. If you can provide me with more information such as manufacturer, model number, etc... I can make a better suggestion. If you have any pictures of what you are talking about, that would be helpful as well.
