I have a few questions about isolators. I’m thinking about getting one of these for my customized 73 VW Beetle running dual deep cycle batteries. Will product number DW08771 be sufficient? Additionally, will I need any extra hardware for installation? Such as product number DW08769?

The Deka Battery Isolator # DW08771 is sufficient on your 1973 Volkswagen Beetle as long as the combined amperage for your dual deep-cycle batteries does not exceed the maximum 120 amp output of the isolator.
If you need the installation wiring and 50-amp circuit breaker, you do need the installation kit # DW08769.
