Hello is the bandw fifth wheel hitch the same for a 2018 gm puck as for a 2022 gm puck system hitch?

GM changed the puck locations of their OEM puck system in the newer 2022 GM trucks like the 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500 which is why new hitch fits had to be released like the part # BWRVK3775 that you referenced. Since you have a 22' Silverado this is the hitch you'd need and one from a 2018 would not fit.
