Question:
I have 3 8k axles does this work?

Expert Reply:
Having 8,000lb axles you are going to need either the 12-1/4" X 3-3/8" Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-8 or the 12" X 3-3/8" Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # K23-532-533-00. The 12" X 3-3/8" Dexter kit is what is generally used on older AL-KO / Hayse axles. If you are unsure you can check your axles for any identifying marks or measure the diameter of your current brake drums.
The Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-6 you found is only for 5,200-7,000lb axles with a 5 bolt brake flange.
