Question:

I need a roof rack and Bike Rack to hold 2 bikes that fit on a 2022 Base Mini Cooper (2 door with bare roof). Can you send me a list of what I need. Yakima looks like it will fit. I would also entertain a trailer hitch mounted bike rack too.

For your 2022 Mini Cooper 2-door with bare roof, we have the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack # 298-SX6000B for a compatible roof rack. This is currently (5/26/22) the only roof rack available for your 2022 Mini Cooper 2-door with a bare roof.

This roof rack would allow you to use a bike rack like the Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier # Y02103 to carry your bikes. You would just need to get (2) of the # Y02103, 1 for each bike.

You can then use the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204 to lock your bike racks to the roof rack and have the included cable locks keyed the same.

For a hitch mounted bike rack we have the Kuat Beta Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # B202-114, which can carry 2 bikes and has a hand knob that reduces movement of the rack in the hitch receiver.

We also have a trunk mounted option like the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634.
