Question:
Good day, we are going to be renting out our rv and need to have a sway bar available for hauling it. It is a 2017 Forest River Vibe, just under 36. We have never moved it so we are not sure what hitch/sway bar to use. Thanks for your help.

It sounds like you have the 2017 Forest River Vibe 301RLS which is just under 36' long. It looks like this has a GVWR of about 9,650 lbs so that's what we'll base our system off of.
A properly loaded trailer needs to have a tongue weight that is 10-15% of the loaded weight of the trailer so if someone were to load the trailer so it was maxed out they should have a tongue weight in the 965 lbs - 1,447 lbs range. Since you're renting this out it might be good to keep a tongue weight scale like part # e99044 with the trailer.
For your application I recommend picking up the Blue Ox TrackPro # BLU59FR which uses integrated sway control (so you don't have to worry about a friction sway bar breaking), adjustable trailer frame brackets, and a shank that has 9 holes for a wide range of tow vehicle situations. This is a simple, yet effective weight distribution system.
