Replacement Option For Superwinch X1 Electric Winch

Question:

Hi, I have a Superwinch X1 SW 1101 and would like to replace the entire winch and hope it fits the current mounting plate that I have. What winch or better winch you recommend. The X1 has the switch built on the unit.

A good replacement option for your 2,000 lb Superwinch X1 electric winch is another 2k winch, from Bulldog Winch:

The # BDW15008 uses a remote, so there isn't a switch built into the winch (winches now use a rocker switch or remote almost exclusively as opposed to a switch on the winch). It comes with 50 feet of steel cable, and has a 3-1/8" center-to-center mounting pattern.
