Fit of UWS UWS01020 Standard Chest Toolbox in Short Bed of Ram Truck

Question:
Why is this toolbox only listed as being able to fit in a 8foot bed? Wouldnt it be able to fit in a shorter bed my truck is a Ram w/ 6foot 4inch bed just as well as an 8foot bed?

The main factor would be whether the footprint of the # UWS01020 will fit between the front of the truck bed and the wheel wells. The base of the toolbox measures 48x24 inches. As long as you have that available space, the toolbox will fit great.
