Hi, I just got a 2022 Silverado RSt with trailering package and no brake controller. Im asking for opinion of best choice of controller for me. 2 axle trailer used occasionally for fairly long trips. Thanks

If you're looking for the best and most tried and true electric trailer brake controller option on the market then it's hard to make a case against the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 with its easy to read display, built-in safeguards, and storable settings. It can be installed on a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST without splicing using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3064-P. You'll have to drill two small holes in the dash but aside from that it's very easy to install, setup, and use.
