How to Attach Carpet to Boat Trailer Bunk Boards

Question:
Im modifying a boat trailer to carry my small catamaran and Im building 6-foot bunk boards, which I will carpet. How do you recommend I attach your carpet to the board? Thank you

I recommend attaching the carpet to your boards using staples. If you wrap the carpet around the board and only staple the carpet on the sides or back of the board, the staples will not scratch the hull of your boat.
