Troubleshooting Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack Bike Holders Not Locking With Key

Question:
The bike holders dont seem to lock. I turn the key to the lock position but the they still loosen or tighten when the knob is turned. What am I doing wrong. Thanks

Expert Reply:
I reached out to Thule for additional help with your EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202. They recommended using the Universal Change Key # 853-1251 to remove the lock cylinder and ensure there is no damage in the handle and that it is properly aligned in the slot with no debris that would cause a malfunction.
If you find they are damaged or you can still not get them to work, we do have the Short Arm # 7525491002 and Long Arm # 1500052414 assemblies available.
