Question:
Wondering if this would fit my motorhome and how would you compare it to a Safe-T-Plus model that seems easier to install.

For your 2017 Thor ACE 30.2 built on a F-53 chassis with an 18k GVWR the Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer part # RM36RR is the correct fit and what you'd want. This will give you improved handling and stability of the Safe-T-Plus which was designed more as a way to prevent losing control during a tire blow out.
