Was wanting to use this hitch for a snowplow - something quick and easy to remove and store. What about the 1997 Detail K2 Rampage II snowplow? Is that somewhat easy to mount and remove? Thanks!!

Using the Custom Mounting Brackets # K284130 for the Detail K2 Rampage II Elite Snowplow # K2RAMP8219ELT is a much better option than using a Detail K2 Elite Snowplow for 2" Hitches # K2AVAL8219ELT. First you have 2 mounting points for the winch to attach to making the connection point stronger. And since you will have to have a custom made front receiver welded up it is impossible to know the exact ratings and capacities for that receiver.

I prefer the Elite # K2RAMP8219ELT version with its electric actuator as it is more precise than the Winch # K2RAMP8219. you will also not have to worry about ice building up on the strap and having to be cleaned off.

The Halogen High/Low Beam Light Kit with Turn Signals # K281488LB2 will help you see in low light conditions and will also help others see you to help prevent accidents. And if you plan to plow a lot I recommend having an extra set of Skid Shoes # K2SS2600 and Markers # K2PM2700 as they will wear and possibly break off during use.
