Can I Mount The Bulldog Winch Powersports Series ATV Winch Upside Down

Question:
Hi, I have a 1985 Jayco J series pop up camper. I recently ordered the 2500lb Bulldog Winch but it looks like I need the motor to be in the opposite side. Is it okay to flip it so the cable loads in over the top? If not, is there a winch that has a motor on the opposite side? Thanks,

I spoke with a representative from Bulldog Winch about your situation. I was told you can turn the Bulldog Winch Powersports Series ATV Winch - Wire Rope - Roller Fairlead - 2,500 lbs, part # BDW15006, upside down, so feet side up, and it will still work. This would mean no changes to the way the winch operates, you are just mounting it upside down. The brake should still work in the same manner.
