Question:
Hi, I have a 2008 Honda Odyssey EXL and a 2015 Hobie Tandem Island. I would like your recommendations on roof racks and trailers that will work with this vehicle and boat.

When it comes to installing a roof rack system on your 2008 Honda Odyssey, I recommend The Rhino Rack Roof Bar System this kit includes:
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars-Aluminum-Black-46 inches Long - Qty 2 # RRVA118B-2
Rhino-Rack SX Series Legs Qty 4 # RRSX100
This system has a sleek, low-profile and has a elliptical crossbar shape that helps to create an extremely aerodynamic system. The weight capacity of this system is 165 pounds.
We carry a number of trailers that would work for your 2015 Hobie Tandem Island Kayak.
The Malone MicroSport Trailer # MPG460G has a galvanized steel frame as well as galvanized wheels and coated steel crossbars; this trailer has a 375 lb capacity. For something with a larger capacity there is the Malone MegaSport Kayak Trailer # MPG535 which is also made of galvanized steel and has a 1,000 lb capacity. I would use the trailer to haul your kayak.
