Hi, I received ARB 814410 Retractable Awning as a gift from a friend and what is best way to install this awning to my 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L vehicle? I am looking for simplest way to install this awning and would like to purchase necessary items from etrailer.com Currently, I do NOT have any roof rail system on the car. However, I am planning to install OEM Roof Rails with OEM cross bars next weeks. Please advise and any help will be greatly appreciated. I can either do OEM Roof rail systems with OEM cross-bar or any after-market parts However, my preference will be NO DRILLING on the car. Many thanks

Since you mentioned that you are getting the OEM roof rails installed on your 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L, all you'll need to attach your ARB 81444 Retractable Awning to your vehicle, is a set of cross bars.

I recommend going with the Thule WingBar Edge Crossbar # TH89RE, with the Edge Raised Rail Feet for Thule Edge Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails # TH69SC.

This is a no drill installation, and will simply attach to your OEM roof rails.

These cross bars measure 60" long, and has a maximum weight capacity of 220lbs.
