Maximum Tire PSI Rating for Lionshead 274-000011 16 x 6 Jaguar Trailer Wheel

Question:

I have Jaguar 16X6 rim - 6 on 5 1/2. I currently have E rated tires and would like to go with a G rating. Will wheel handle the 110 psi with correct valve stem screw in. I’m not trying to get more hauling capacity just a better tire with a better side wall. Dry wt of fifth wheel is 11000 and loaded it’s 14300.

According to Lionshead, their # 274-000011 16 x 6 Jaguar wheel can handle the pressure needed to inflate any tire that can be mounted upon it.

The so-called weak link would be the valve stem. With a 110 psi tire such as the # LHWL410 235/85-16 load range tire mounted on the rim, you'd want to use the # AM20906 valve stem.
