Does the Westin HDX Headache Rack # 57-8025 Work with a DeeZee DZ93170TB Tool Box?

Hello. I have a 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD LT. Short bed. I’m interested in purchasing the Westin 57-8025 and also the dee zee platinum series truck bed tool box DZ-93170TB My question is will the truck box fit in between the headache rack bed rail mounting bracket with no issues. Please let me know ASAP. Thank you in advance.

Even though we do not carry the Dee Zee Platinum Series Tool Box DZ93170TB, there is definitely a way to know for sure if it fits with the Westin HDX Headache Rack # 57-8025 on your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed. Since the Westin # 57-8025 has a thin triangular bracket and lip at the far end of the bases that attach to your truck's bed caps, the determining factor is if the DZ93170TB does not overhang past your truck's rails. I went ahead and attached a photo that shows these areas.

According to the blueprints of the DZ93170TB, the toolbox has a total length of 70.5 inches including the lips on both sides. I recommend measuring your bed's rail caps from outside end to outside end. As long as that measurement is more than 70.5 inches, you should be good to go.
