Does Thule Airscreen XT Only Fit Thule Crossbars

Do you have to have a Thule crossbar to use this product?

Since the mounting hardware of the Airscreen XT part # TH72WV is universal it can basically install on any crossbar so it does not have to be a Thule crossbar.
