What Gauge Wire Do I Need to Add 10 Feet of Wire to 2 Banks of the NOCO GENPRO # NOC84FR?

Question:

Thanks for the help. Now the stupid question. Give me an example of the AC modification that would void the warranty. I expect I will need to remove the 2ea -/+ 3/8 eyelet connector and splice in the 10ft of needed extension which then goes to the battery. If that is true i would not want to do so if that voids the warranty

Great question! I reached out to my tech at NOCO, and he confirmed that the 14AWG leads of the NOCO GENPRO On-Board Battery Charger - AC to DC # NOC84FR can be extended up to an additional 10' without modifying or moving the fuse. The fuse must remain in place and the additional length must be added after the fuse. It is important to note that any AC modifications will void the warranty and is strongly not recommended. The warranty will remain intact as long as these guidelines are followed. NOCO does not provide information on extending the cables so you will have to research the appropriate cable and connections yourself. An additional fuse may be added closer to the battery for additional safety.

According to my tech at NOCO, he said that if you do anything with the AC cord, it is considered a modification and the warranty would be voided. Therefore, removing the eyelets from the AC cord falls under this category.
