It looks like you have a Thule or Sears roof cargo box that fits with the Thule Replacement Key # THKEYN2872. If you have an older lock core then you may need to use a rubber mallet to tap the key in far enough the first time you use it.
If you're needing to replace the lock core as well then you need a different kit like part # 1500004217 which comes with a new lock core and key, and then you also need the Universal Change Key # 853-1251 to remove the old lock and install the new one. If you have more than one lock that needs to be replaced then we have larger kits you can choose from:
2 Core - # TH450200
4 Core - # TH450400
6 Core - # TH450600
8 Core - # TH450800
