Question:

Hi etrailer, Curious if the mounts for this basket will fit on Thule Xsporter Pro load bar dimensions: 3-1/2inch wide x 1-1/2inch tall. This basket claims 1-5/8 inch tall and 3 inch wide. But I wonder how tight that tolerance is. Thanks.

The max crossbar size the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # C18115-117 will fit is 3" wide x 1-5/8" tall like what you mentioned. Since your crossbars are 3-1/2" wide the U-Bolts won't be able to wrap around them.

As an alternative you can use the Inno Roof Deck Platform Rack # INA520. This comes with clamps to fit up to 3-1/2" wide x 1-3/8" tall crossbars so it will still be just too small but you can add the Aero Crossbar T-Slot Mounting Hardware # INBRP12 to mount it via the T-Slots in your ladder rack system. The vast majority of roof baskets don't have this mounting ability. If you like the railing system then you can also add that with the Kit # IN57FR.
