Recommended Jack With Large Caster Wheel for 6-1/2 x 12 Landscape Trailer

Updated 03/30/2022 | Published 03/29/2022

Question:

I have a 6.5 x 12 landscape trailer that I use to haul my ATV. I would like to replace the tongue Jack with a new one that comes with a larger wheel and would make it easier to maneuver the trailer around when not hitched to the tow vehicle. Can you give me a recommendation? Thanks

Assuming the trailer's tongue weight isn't more than 1500 lbs and the trailer frame is 3" x 3", 3" x 4", or 3" x 5", the Fulton # F87CR you'd looked at would work great. The caster wheel is 8 inches in diameter, to make moving the trailer around by hand or by a tow dolly like # RA20 easier. This type of jack bolts the the side of the trailer A-frame or pole tongue (straight tongue).

I've linked to a product description video for the # F87CR Fulton Jack.
