My TT is 50 Amps, sometimes campgrounds we stay at only have or only have available with sites with 30 amps. Can I use this 50 amp SP with a 30 amp service in the line to my trailer? Will it still protect my unit using only a 30 amp service or would i need a separate 30 amp SP for it to protect properly?

That is not a problem, you can use Power Watchdog Surge Protector with Bluetooth, # HU47FR for a 50 Amp service and an adapter such as the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug for 50 Amp Female to 30 Amp Male, # A10-3050AVP when needed. You want to match your surge protector to the rating of your TT's service for preventing damage to your electrical system from power spikes.
