Which Trailer Hitch Will Fit My 2019 Subaru Ascent

Question:

my friend says this hitch has no frame support,,,,,can i still be ok towing 4k weight trailer ?????????????? He is comparing it to a subaru dealer installed one

When putting a trailer hitch on your 2019 Subaru Ascent The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2 inch # e55ZR it will bolt right up to your frame. From what I found in the instructions the hitch will be placed right over the bumper studs, and that's when you attach the factory nuts. It has a gross towing weight of up to 5,000 pounds and has a tongue weight up to 750 pounds. So the hitch is ok for towing 4,000 pounds, but make sure to check your manual and it will give you the proper towing weight your vehicle can handle.
