Availability of Diode to use With Curt 56409 on 2021 Hyundai Kona

Question:
I have the Curt 56409 installed in a 2021 Hyundai Kona. I have a HF trailer with LED lights, and ground run by wire from the lights directly to the 4way plug. The Curt breaker keeps tripping and Curt said its because of cross feed of the LEDs and suggested I put a Diode on each side before the 4 way to stop the crossfeed.. do you see just diodes for this?
